Meet the Team

Two friends turned founders on a mission to make South Shore homes beautiful and functional.
When Caroline & Alexa met in 2021, they instantly bonded over their love of the South Shore, the beauty and challenges of early motherhood and a mutual obsession with almond croissants. Being in the midst of chaos with young kids, they found themselves comparing notes on organizing techniques and products at every play date. Realizing they had a desire for a new creative outlet, they decided to bring their shared passion for organizing to others and founded Sorted.

Caroline Casey
The pandemic brought about a number of changes for Caroline, including moving to the South Shore, buying a home and becoming a new mom. A lot of physical and emotional change to navigate all at once, she was struggling in her day-to-day. In the midst of all these big changes, one of the biggest saving graces was getting organized. Clear spaces lead to clearer headspaces and won her time back in her busy days. After working in the private sector for 8 + years, she decided to leave her job in business development and focus on her growing family and local community building opportunities. Fast forward three years and two kids later and she’s ready to bring the life-changing effects of organizing to others.

Alexa Getchell
Alexa has always been someone who thrives in a well organized and tidy space. Working as a nurse for a decade taught her how to be organized in a fast paced environment in order to provide quality care to patients. After becoming a new mom while working full time, she had to adjust her expectations of what a well organized home could look like and get creative in her organizing solutions to create a comfortable home for herself and her kids. Embracing the chaos, Alexa found the balance between good-enough and perfect. At the end of the day everything has its place and she can sit and relax with a clear head. Finding realistic ways to organize and maintain a space is her passion.
